Random Destroy blocks

Hi, so i have tried to do a event to randomly destroy blocks... Well... obviously it failed, i am new to spigot plugin development, i known java for a long time but im not a wiz at it, So does anyone know how to do this

When player types command (/DestoryBlocks) then Destroy 65 blocks around them, is this possible?

Is random amount of blocks possible to? instead of number e.g 65
