Updating to Java 8

Hello Everyone, as you may know there is new technology (java 8) and my plugins are developed for java 8. I'm currently using java 7 and don't know how to update. I've used many tuts and read a bit and yet I still don't understand.. Please help ;D
I'm using yum commands. Centos and Linux.
Currently with securedservers.
